Rear extension and Interior Design

This is a typical case of a long relationship between client and architect. We have been commissioned through the years to attend to this North London property at different stages with different brief for the last 15 years.

During this time, we have done architectural interventions as well as interior design including: re-designing all the bathrooms, a large Loft conversion, redesigning the master bedroom including walk-in closet, interior design of the Library/TV room, Interior design of the Reception and Dining room, re-design of the façade treatment and new Entrance Porch.

Lately our clients asked us to design a rear extension to increase the space and function of the family room and breakfast area. In order to maximise the light and to integrate the views into a very large landscaped garden, we created an angle sliding doors with minimal frames to expose as much as possible the extension to the garden being able to open a large portion of the glazed doors to bring the terrace as part of the social space. A new openable skylight provides the necessary light to the kitchen area which was kept in the original location without losing the quality of light.
