Hampstead Garden Suburb
Conversion, extension and Interior Design of a house in the suburb
This 1930’s family house in Hampstead Garden Suburb was earmarked by our clients for a full renovation. The brief was to provide accommodation for a family of five, with teenage kids. The house was extended to a total area of 424 sq.m, with a two storey rear extension, a rear single extension and a loft conversion.
Special attention was given to provide all the necessary areas for living, storage and entertaining. There are 33 linear metres of bespoke wardrobes in the house, serving all bedrooms. The loft in the third level features a games room with a small kitchenette and a further two bedrooms sharing one bathroom for the boys. The first floor has three bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. The large walk-in closet serving the master bedroom can be subdivided if in the future there is need for a further bedroom. The Ground floor has a large area for entertaining, containing the reception and dining area which could be adapted to serve large family occasions. The kitchen with its breakfast area benefits from two facades that bring light to the room. There is also a TV room and a garage with storage that could double as a gym.
