New interiors for a luxury property in Hampstead

The client invited us to work as interior designers on this project alongside their architect, Robert Hirschfield Architects.

As such, we were responsible for the selection and specification of all the internal finishing materials for the architecture, as well as the design of all the bespoke furniture and ultimately sourcing all the furniture and furnishings to complete the project.

The house was completely refurbished and extended to offer all the necessary comforts for a young family with young children. The house also had to offer well-defined areas for entertaining and family life, including a family TV room, breakfast and daily dining area, games room, bedrooms and an indoor swimming pool. Formal areas included a lounge, a formal dining room, a double-volume foyer, terraces and gardens.

All aspects of the interior design were carefully discussed with the clients to understand their preferences and expectations. Great attention was also paid to creating plenty of storage areas for everything from clothes, crockery, bar and toys. Again, we managed to convince the clients to use different materials and colours to create depth and texture in the different rooms, keeping most of the common and circulation areas in a white tone to allow the art to speak for itself.

The inspiration was based on Art Deco style with a contemporary approach.
