Three-Storey Maisonette Refurbishment in Maida Vale

Our clients wanted to refurbish this three-storey maisonette in Maida Vale with a view to letting the property to a higher bracket of tenant. We convinced them to reconfigure the flat, moving the half-landing kitchen into what had been a double reception, in line with modern open-plan living — while the old kitchen made space for a new laundry, cloakroom and guest WC. Across the three existing bedrooms, the brief was to create much-needed additional storage; we also redesigned the three bathrooms and completed the transformation with a new lighting scheme and a full overhaul of the finishes, achieving the boutique effect our clients were after.
