Communal Areas Refurbishment in a Listed Holland Park Building

We transformed the communal areas of a listed historic building on Melbury Road, Holland Park, balancing its original character with a fresh, contemporary style. The works covered the entrance hall, the porter’s office, the ground-floor fireplace lobby, and the lift lobbies and corridors across three floors. New picture-frame panelling, dado rails, wallpapers and a full lighting renewal were introduced around the original tiled walls, which were carefully preserved.

Every detail — furnishings, finishes, lighting and artwork — was curated, and we worked closely with artisans, suppliers and the client to ensure each element was thoughtfully designed, commissioned and installed. The result is a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity.
